Every Member Ministry

As a church community, we rely on one another to meet the needs within our church. This is the job of all those who claim Christ and are now ministers of the gospel. This job is assigned to every believer in Jesus Christ and is why we call this "Every-Member Ministry." If you are a Member of FBC Looking for a place to serve, we encourage you to start here.

Below are some ways to start filling your role in Every-Member Ministry:
  • Visiting an Elderly Church Member
  • Reading the Bible with a Neighbor
  • Making a Meal for a New Mother
  • Inviting a Single Friend over for Family Dinner
  • Meeting the Needs of Those in Your Life Group
  • Checking-in on Someone you Haven't Seen in a While by Calling Them
  • Offering to Babysit for a Family
  • Asking Someone New to Church out to Coffee
  • Intentionally Engaging New Members or Visitors
  • Sharing Your Faith with Co-workers/ Neighbors / Friends / Family

In addition to serving in these organic ways, another foundational way that a church member can serve and encourage the body of Christ is through worshiping alongside their brothers and sisters in Christ on a Sunday morning. Hebrews 10: 24-25 "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."
