Join us as Royce Stevens presents the program "A Soldier in Two Armies," with guest, 101st Division Deputy Garrison Chaplain (MAJ) Neil Huenefeld.
- We will discuss the role of military chaplains, ambassadors for Christ, while wearing the military uniform, balancing their commitment to their faith with their duty to their country.
- Chaplains provide vital religious support, emotional counseling, and spiritual readiness to service members and their families globally.

Impact Ministry has ordered 300 food boxes for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Impact Ministry requests we collect cake mix, frosting and corn. The boxes do not have these items in it.
An opportunity promoted through the Christian County Baptist Association.

Shower Ministry

In partnership with area churches, we provide showers, meals, and essential support for those experiencing homelessness.
- We Collect: Travel-size shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and socks. Drop items in the donation box by the lobby elevator.
- Due to the changes in weather, please consider donating sweatshirts, jackets or coats
Those needing services may go to the Christian Life Center, 1603 S. Main Street.

Your IMB missionaries serve around the world in cities, rural areas, hard-to-reach places, and among people who are displaced and dispersed.
What is the Week of Prayer for International Missions?
Lostness is the world’s greatest problem, but the gospel of Jesus changes everything.
We come together during the Week of Prayer for International Missions to respond to God’s heart for the nations and pray for your missionaries taking the gospel to people who have never heard.
Each day, you’ll meet one of your IMB missionaries and pray for their ministry. Join us in asking God to move in ways only He can, drawing people to Himself, growing His Church, and sending more workers to the nations.
What is the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering?
Together, we take Jesus’ gospel to every corner of the world.
It’s an offering for international missions. Churches — big and small — pool their resources to send and sustain missionaries who find and engage the lost.
This legacy goes all the way back to the 1880s when Lottie Moon, a missionary to China, urged churches to work together to send more missionaries. That call still moves us today.
Your partnership makes it possible for missionaries to live among people who have never heard the gospel.
Thank you for being a part of what God is doing: drawing people to Himself and growing His Church. Together, we take Jesus’ gospel to every corner of the world.

Who is Lottie Moon?
Lottie Moon changed the way Southern Baptists viewed missions by making it personal.
In 1873, she sailed to China as a missionary. She devoted her life to serving the people while sharing the gospel. Through letters home, she shared stories that helped churches understand the needs of missionaries and people who had never heard the name of Jesus. She challenged believers to work together to send and sustain more missionaries. Her influence inspired the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions. Her life left a legacy of faith, generosity, and global missions.

101st Airborne (Air Assault) Division Band Annual Holiday Classics Concerts
Wednesday, December 9, 7pm - FREE!
Serve @ Downtown Christmas Parade
First Baptist Church will be serving hot chocolate and cookies sponsored by our WMU Team.
Plans are set for Hopkinsville’s Christmas parade on Saturday, December 12. The theme is “A Snowman’s Winter Wonderland.
The parade will begin at 5:15 p.m. — and we will be under the canopy serving cookies and hot chocolate.
*WMU will bake the cookies on Friday, December 11.
